List of Laboratory Heaters and How to Choose

We offer specialized heaters that features overheat protection and are small enough to be experimented with on a tabletop.
The W series heater has a built-in thermal fuse and is designed to shut off the heater if it burns dry.

How to select a heater

1. Select a heater that fits your tank based on tank size

Select a heater that matches the size of your tank.
There are two types of heaters: one is inserted into the bottom of the tank (bottom insert type) and the other is thrown in from the top of the tank (immersion type).
For bottom insert type, select a tank that is compatible with it.
For immersion type, you will need to consider the length of the heating section, the height of the liquid surface, the volume of liquid, the number of watts, and a clasp that matches the pipe diameter, and the width of the tank.

2. Select the number of watts and number of units based on the temperature you want to heat.

Decide the wattage and number of heaters based on the temperature at which you wish to heat the liquid.
The following table shows the number of heaters and heating time required for heating from 20°C to 60°C.

3. Select the material from the plating solution

The suitable heater material depends on the type of plating solution. PTFE-coated heaters are suitable for precious metal plating such as gold plating.

Compatible thermostat

The corresponding thermostat differs depending on the output voltage. Please refer to the number of the ” Suitable thermostat ” in the following “List of heater specification”.
