The role of the dummy ball

Dummy balls may be mixed with the plating sample in the following cases.
・When loading volume of plating samples is not enough and the contact between the samples is insufficient and the energization is poor.
・When the plating samples do not mix well by themselves even if the drum is rotated
・When items stick to each other

Dummy ball selection guide

(1)Select dummy ball that specific gravity is as close as possible to the plating sample.
(2)Select smaller particle size than the plating sample.
(3)Pay attention to the magnetism
